Take Action: End UK household product testing on animals

Last year,  the UK coalition government pledged two commitments by May 2015 relating to the use of animals in scientific research:

  • to end the testing of household products on animals
  • to work to reduce the use of animals in scientific research

Despite some research and half-hearted murmurings, both practices continue in the UK. OneKind are now asking supporters to sign a petition, urging the government to speed up the realisation of their pledges and put an end to this pointless and inhumane practice once and for all. They want the government to introduce the ban asap, in time to complete its passage before the upcoming general election.
