So much more than a bat walk!
Led by Phil Smith (bat ecologist, Natural England licensed bat roost visitor and volunteer with East Dorset Bat Rescue and Rehabilitation) this two evening course will include an outdoor session looking for bats on the nature reserve and a classroom based lecture on:
• bat ecology
• bats and the law
• bat survey techniques
• How to choose and use a bat detector
• How to identify bats
In addition East Dorset Bat Rescue and Rehabilitation hope to bring some live bats to one of the evenings for a close bat encounter!
This course is designed for people who are interested in, or hope to work with bats and want to understand more about bats and surveying techniques.
